. It wasn't a big foaling year in 2016, but it was super exciting regardless! We started the year with a grulla filly out of Skip N Shimmer and by KJ Black Ice who has come back as being homozygous for the PATN1 gene! The second foal, a bay dun AQHA filly was EXACTLY what we were so hoping for by our AQHA stallion, Zan Baron Capital. The third(Born 5/12) is a breath taking, BLACK leopard colt!!! The very last foal wasn't exactly what we had expected but a beautiful slate grulla filly with hip spots that will more than likely color out as she ages. Three duns out of three possible duns, not too shabby!!

This is exactly what we had hoped for this year!! This cross has consistently produced super nice foals over the years. All ones that we had a hard time letting go of. This filly will grow up to be a well put together quarter horse with the athletic ability to go in any direction. This filly's maternal grandsire earned his ROM in roping with AQHA and her sire is World class numbered heeler, himself. This filly will mature at 15 hands or a little shorter.
