Harlans Leo Eyed AQHA

Harlan is a 1999 sorrel mare that started it all for us.  She has raised many nice foals sired by various stallions, and all our riding geldings we've kept back are out of her.  She is broke to ride and a gentle mare that can sit idle for years and then ride without incident.  She is foundation bred with Two Eyed Jack, Leo San, Miller San, Wimpy, and Doc Bar in her extended pedigree.  Her sire has points with the PHBA.  Half siblings to this mare have ROMS and in reining, heading, and heeling with AQHA.  Harlan stands at 14.2 hands and has a short back with plenty of hip, straight legs and a well put together conformation.

Smooth Star Harlan AQHA

"Black Harlan" as we call her was purchased as we have always been desperate for an "OG Harlan" replacement with no such luck,  She is niece to our original, being out of one of her half sisters.  Black Harlan is actually a smokey black and stands at 15 hands.  She has the same sweet demeanor and big soft eye that we were really craving more of from this particular line.  This mare's bloodlines include the tried and true, Two Eyed Jack, Wimpy, Leo, Hired Hand, and of course, Harlan.

Harlan is bred to our home raised AQHA stallion, Zan Eyed Waylon for a 2026 foal.
